Johnson Street was one of my favorite streets in
Minneapolis. Trendy and eclectic, but with blue-collar
roots. I was saddened to hear about the death of a
cashier at the Stop-and-Go, which I had shopped at a
couple of times. And absolutely shocked to hear that
Nan's, a restaurant at Johnson and 28th {or 29th, I'm
not sure} is closing! {I heard the news on a Talk
thread on Star Tribune Online.}
I thought Nan's was a thriving restaurant in a
thriving neighborhood. Does anyone know what is going
on? Did the road construction put too much of a dent
in business?
