Hello Minneapolis how is every one doing today? The other night I went to the Minneapolis North Henry boys basketball game at the Target Center. Every year this game sells out 3 or 4 hrs before the start of the game so this year they decided to play this game at the Target Center.
During the game there were about 4 fights in the stands. After the game the fights spilled out into the lobby and into the streets of down town Minneapolis. There were so many fights after the game it was crazy. I know that this is a huge game for both teams but I think that some thing needs to be done about the fights that are taking place. During the game the PA guy came over the loud speaker and said that if there were any more fights in the stands the game would be called. About 10 minuets later there was another fight. The game still went on and they finished the game. I think that it is a sad site of affairs when people go to high school games and they start fighting in the stands.
These are two of the better teams in the city and people have to go to the games and pick fights. I think something has to be done about the fighting and the tension between these two teams.
I think what they should do is if they want to play in a big arena they should move it to U of M. It is a closer to the court. it is a more confined space and it is a "basketball" environment. I think that things just got to spread out at the Target Center.
That is just what I say please let me know what you think.
