On Saturday, February 22 at 5:00pm the Hennepin History Museum is hosting
its on-going Fireside Chat series. Using postcards from the Golden Age,
Robert Stumm, author of A Postcard Journey Along the Mississippi, will take
us on a journey along the Mississippi River from Minneapolis and St. Paul to
Cairo, Illinois. Stumm will introduce us to many of the industries that
flourished along the river from flour mills to button factories to the
Historic Bohemian Flats.

The Hennepin History Museum is located in the historic Washburn Fair Oaks
neighborhood just south of downtown Minneapolis at 2303 Third Avenue South,
Minneapolis, MN 55404. For additional information about the museum and its
programs please visit the museums Web site at http://www.hhmuseum.org/ or
call (612) 870-1329.
