Cathy: your overall sentiment is noble, and I bet most of us who do
"complain" are already fairly involved civically and volunteering in many
ways.

But importantly, LGA cuts mean Minneapolis residents and businessowners will
*pay* more - or at least, they won't save anything. (LGA pushes the tax
burden from state taxpayers to local property taxpayers.) The folks who save
money via LGA cuts live in wealthier suburbs with fewer social service
needs. Since they get the savings, be sure to hit them up.
