Phyllis, is mandating another election two years early really about one person-one vote, or is it about ideological cleansing of the Minneapolis City Council by the DFL (i.e., getting rid of our Green Party members)? You can cite cases from the segregationist era all you want. While your analogies may be clever and sometimes convincing, your motives remain suspect. And while I rarely agree with conservatives, one mantra of theirs that makes sense to me is no mandates (in this case directives to municipalities by the state) without funding. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------Peter Schmitz, CARAG.
