I can't really say that I feel too sorry for either
one of these officers. (Storlie or Ngo), although I'm
glad that Mr. Ngo is recovering and will survive.

Both of these men have questionable histories within
the department. (I know that Storlie was exonerated,
but the city still awarded a sizable sum to Lawrence
Miles, so ovbiously enough people felt that there had
been wrong doing on the part of the MPD.)

Ngo, was disciplined for making racist remarks outside
of a Somoli Church, and is arguably in the situation
he becuase he's "Strong, and aggressive." (Start
Tribune), still I feel for any victim of police
misconduct, even when the victim is a cop.

What few people seem to be acknowledging is that this
police department is unable to go even a month without
shooting someone who is not involved in a crime. The
only difference is that this time the victim suvied.

This is something that will continue as long as people
like Robert Olson, Sharon Lubinsky and John Delmonico
are deciding MPD policy.

Even once they're gone, Rich Stanek is dictating state
policies. For the time being any one of us could be
murdered by an over aggressive MPD cop. I'm
definately scared.
