MN: So, what is the going rate for a library board member, $600 a month?
add in catered meals at the meetings costing thousands of dollars per year.
Free indoor parking (at the old library, I don't know if they have the same
arrangement at CLM.) And who
knows what else the taxpayers are spending for them and how many other boards,
commissions, etc. are out
there spending our money for luxuries and conveniences?
Hell, that "little bit of money" that would have allowed you to serve is half a months
wages for some
library employees.
S'cuse me while I go get another piece of cake.
