I second that congratulations, I love it when Minneapolis Public Schools
win championships, I just wish it were my Southwest Lakers. I think it has
been a while since an MPS has won a state championship in any other sport,
beside basketball. I get sick and tired of watching the Bloomington
Jeffersons, Blaines and other box house suburbs win the hockey, soccer,
tennis, track...etc championships year after year. With the coming cuts,
doesn't look like we stand much of a chance in the near future either. Me
if I'm wrong.

Both the Minneapolis North(4A) and Henry(3A) boys basketball teams are
going
to the Minnesota State Basketball tournament. Congratulations to these
teams
and good luck in the State Tournament.
