WM: The bus company has been moving bus stops from "near side" (before the intersection) to "far side" (after the intersection) for some time now. This makes it less difficult for the bus driver to snug the bus against the curb so that both front and back door are against the curb. It makes the step off the bus 7" higher for the passenger and lessens the possibility of falling. This is especially important for disabled and senior passengers and for parents with kids in tow.I'm curious under what condition could someone or a business petition for the MTC bus stop/shelter to move from one street corner down half a block.
