Me: I think it may be your imagination, Jan <grin>. While your observation isn't Minneapolis-specific, there was plenty of media about the Downtown/SW rapist, during the assaults and with the arrest of a suspect. WCCO did a story about the rash of Honda thefts in Southwest. There are probably a few other city cases I'm forgetting, but it doesn't seem like crime has been forgotten ... especially since it is a media perennial.
