associated with them due to the projectile's high lead content and
potential impact on the environment. Green ammunition has been developed to
reduce the need for clean-up and with it, the overall true life-cycle cost
of a bullet."

Vicky adds:

I argue that the increase in bullets flying around Minneapolis, and their
residue, is more likely responsible for increased lead levels in children.
Gunpowder is 95% lead - and it drifts all over the place as shots are
fired.  Just handling bullets distributes high concentrations of lead
indoors and outdoors.  (It should be noted that paint has not contained
lead since 1977.)

I suggest that the Greens get in gear and pass an ordinance requiring all
gang members and gun toting thugs to switch to "green" bullets.  We should
follow in the footsteps of the U. S. Army:
