Scott Persons:
Of course most of us are not surprised at all that a
leader of STRIDE is connected to raucous caucus.
(snip) Now that we've established the
STRIDE/cowardscaucus connection...

David Piehl writes:

OK, first of all, when somebody starts out by stating
"most of us", it sets off the BS detector. Second of
all, just because the same cartoonist is involved with
the STRIDE and Raucous Caucus websites doesn't make
them linked. The cartoonist in question also does
material for PULSE and other publications; is it a
vast conspiracy? Not so long ago, Scott talked about
the various organizations he's involved with; does
that make them linked? Many STRIDE members were/are
members of the PAC; does that make STRIDE and the PAC
linked? I even got the ridiculous "certificate of
appreciation" for involvement with the Access Project!
I am involved with STRIDE, but have no involvement
with Raucous Caucus whatsoever, other than the laughs
I get from occasional visits to the site. If I were
involved, I'd be happy to take credit for it - the
stuff they've put together is really funny!
Unfortunately, I don't have time for that kind of fun
with corrupt boondoogles like the Excess Project
fleecing our city, state, county and country receiving
the approval of a vocal minority of residents and
political leaders.

Scott's accusations are sounding more and more like a
witch hunt; think about it, although there is no link,
why would it matter if there were?? I think it's just
another attempt to impune STRIDE's increasingly
effective strategy because STRIDE represents real
interference for a boondoogle project containing
precious few benefits for the area. STRIDE is
nobody's lapdog.
