Accountable or punished?  In what way does someone have
to be accountable for constitutionally protected speech?
Should antiwar protesters be held accountable for their
views?  Should Gay activists be held accountable for
their impact on "family values"?  From whose perspective
do we determine accountability?  There's a reason that
the Supreme Court has repeated struck down speech codes.
