It was a good move to have the CNIA meetings video taped. The recorder used was the property of Pauline, I might add, not CNIA. The tapes of the meetings helped to insure that an accurate account of what transpired at them was recorded. I also wrote the minute documents for record. I think that the question is if Pauline is writing her columns or having someone do them for her. Frankly, I do not think that it matters if minnie mouse is doing the writing. The real issue is the accuracy of the columns content. This means that documentation must be obtained and researched. I know that Pauline is able to get information and documentation on issues that she is working on. I have seen her do this time and time again. I give credit where credit is due. Most of the Community Collaborative columns have been very productive in informing the community on different issues. As a reader I do not agree with some of them. But that happens in the media world.  As a participant in some of the issues reported upon by Pauline, I feel that personal emotions have sometimes tainted accurate reporting. This also happens in the media world. The column is Community Collaborative's, because of its title I believe that it could be written by anyone as long as it reflects CC view on the issues. Sure, maybe there is a need to work on some areas of the column. But this is new to Community Collabortives (Pauline) and I for one will not put a black women down that has not had adequate time to hone her skills. Those of us that know Pauline know that she can get under your skin. I hope that I get under peoples skin too. We as people will never agree on everything, but when we do agree, lets work together. When we do not agree, lets be respectful and professional when dealing with each other.

So if you do not agree with what is in the Community Collaborative column, write your own prospective and send it to the Spokesman. It is a free world and I'm sure they will give your statements consideration for publication.
