I was watching the 10:00 news last night and saw on the KARE-11 Extra that a woman who works as a records clerk for the Minneapolis Police Department has heeded Mayor Rybak's call and started a business to create jobs for local teenagers. The teens are doing things like yard work and helping people move and stuff like that.
I didn't catch the woman's name and so far KARE has not posted anything on their web site about it, but I did jot down the business' phone number, which was 612-521-8280, if anyone wants to check it out. Has anyone else heard anything about this? Mark Snyder Windom Park TEMPORARY REMINDER: 1. Don't feed the troll! Ignore obvious flame-bait. 2.
