Folks, Warnings are now going out about overheated personal attacks. A lot of the terms thrown around so casually on the list in recent days - "liar," "bully," etc., do nothing to advance rational debate (especially since the labels often lack examples), and that's what this list is for.
Everyone can get caught up in the heat of the moment, and thankfully, many members learn once they do it and don't repeat the mistake. I almost never expel someone after a first warning, even though the rules allow me to. However, the cost of that policy is that the insult-to-wisdom level occasionally rises and rational people drop out. So because some members consistently can't control their personal venom, warnings will go out and repeat violators risk expulsion. If you're really cheesed by a member's post, take it off list.
