But why should they? Why would we want a business to keep this unprofitable store in operation, when the public doesn't want it open (as shown by their failure to buy things there)? And it's not just a recent change, this store hasn't made money for 8 years (even when the economy was going good, under Clinton-Gore).

Our economy is not helped by subsidizing unprofitable & inefficient operations just to keep them going. We are better off if they close; they will likely be replaced by something that can operate efficiently and attract customers.

support given to the downtown Target can't Target Corp THEMSELVES float some
dough to the Broadway one to keep it afloat?
