Natalie Johnson Lee, Ron Edwards and Lisa McDonald seem like good
possibilities. For City Council we need successful small business owners
like Kim Bartmann (owner of Bryant Lake Bowl and Cafe Barbette) and
activists from Stride and Communities United Against Police Brutality, as
well as those advocating for the Minneapolis's homeless population.

Another thought David: As long as we're stuck with wretched TARGET,
let's make lemonaide out of lemons!!!!! TARGET could "Partner" with
"Disadvantaged" coummunites in the city by providing "At Risk" children
with T-shirts that say: "Warning: I've got relatives in City Hall. " It
might be the thing to make a rogue cop think twice before beating up a
black youth.

TARGET could also donate silk pajamas to those without homes. Heartless
politicians like Lisa Goodman might change their attitude should the
homeless show up at City Hall in pajamas similar to the ones R.T. and his
friends wore a few years ago at the airport to protest jet
noise.---------------------Peter Schmitz CARAG

TEMPORARY REMINDER:
1. Don't feed the troll! Ignore obvious flame-bait.
2. If you don't like what's being discussed here, don't complain - change the subject
(Mpls-specific, of course.)
