I have to comment - None of this is true!
You seem to be accusing me of lying. In fact, you say that everything I said ("None of this is true") is a lie. Pray tell, what volume of falsehoods have I uttered?.
Dyna stopped by on her BMW motorcycle
BMW motorcycles are a lot cheaper than Land Rovers, and the one I rode up on is 19 years old. I learned long ago that on the Northside it's wise to keep BMW emblems covered with bumper stickers and such- thank you for letting me know that one was exposed, I will promptly cover it with a DFL or union bumper sticker.
and was name calling and being completely disrespectful.
May I offer my most sincere apologies- I didn't realise that Don Samuels isn't up to debate with a mere constituent. If you wish I can provide advance warning- will 30 days be enough?- before engaging Don in debate so he may have time to prepare. And since when is questioning an elected official about their job performance, or lack of same, "disrespectful"?
She was not engaging Don in "debate" she was screaming and flinging mud.
Hon, you ain't heard me scream yet. As far as flinging mud, it's been way too dry for that lately.
I am horrified she is a delegate for the DFL.
Do I hear you volunteering to take my place as precinct chair, etc.? I suspect you were not quite so horrified when I cast an endorsement ballot for Don Samuels.
She does not care about the Northside,
Is there a "for sale" sign on my house? Which begs the question- will Don Samuels move to stay in the 3rd Ward?
if she did she would roll up her sleeves and be a part of the solution not the problem!
Don Samuels is having difficulty defining the Northside's problems, never mind the solutions. Slavery was an atrocity, but it does not excuse murder. I have over a half century's experience on the Northside. I can remember when I felt safe on the streets at any hour of the day or night. Then came Regeanomics, unemployment, and drugs. Before that economic plague hit the Northside anyone who didn't screw up completely could get a union job, buy a home, and send their kids to college. Many of those good jobs are gone now, and Don Samuels wants to drive away more. Over half our children don't graduate from high school, they're not dumb... Selling crack on the corner looks tempting compared to a "career" in fast food.
An that problem is ignorance which she has plenty of.
So please educate me.
Hanging on in Hawthorne,
Dyna Sluyter
