I second that motion Barbara. I learned to put up with the Whiskey Junction
and Cabooze's revellers a long time ago. Whether it is 1 a.m. or 2 a.m.
the bar has to be held responsible for its patrons exiting. If an
estiblishment can't curb the problems that bother neighbors, then they
ought to be dealt with on a case by case basis. Let's at least give it a
try, instead of fighting the boogie man that may not be around the corner.

I live next to interstate 94 by Riverside Park. I chose to live there and
long ago adjusted to the freeway noise I appreciate; no close neighbors,
dead end street, etc. If I lived near Cedar-Riverside, the ENTERTAINMENT
DISTRICT, I would waste no time protesting a one hour extension of what has
always been the case, music, traffic, etc... What is up with folks feeling
they have the right to tell legal legitimate businesses what they may and
may not do. If you don't want to live near bars, you can always move. I
would appreciate more time spent on fighting crime where I live than
whining
about "2 AM vs 1 AM". In the last 6 months,we have had over a dozen
assaults on strangers by groups of young men, including a "wilding" (near
riot)incident with approximately 30 teens armed with 2 x 4's and tire
irons-
putting one man in the hospital. That is something that everyone should be
complaining about.
