Your friends at STRIDE remind you that a series of open houses will take place this
week to get input from citizens about the future of Lake Street. The open houses are
as follows:

* Tuesday, June 24, 7 - 9 p.m., Minneapolis Police Fifth Precinct Station, 3101
Nicollet Ave. S.

* Thursday, June 26, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., East Lake Library, 2727 E. Lake St.,

* Saturday, June 28, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., Urban Ventures, 3041 4th Ave.

**Please Note that the First Open House is Tonight**

STRIDE encourages you to take a particularly long look at option"W-4." Modeled in
part on Diversey Street in Chicago, this design incorporates two car lanes, bike
lanes, and on-street parking with the capacity to handle Lake Street's 21,000 cars
per day (Diversey handles  24,000).

TEMPORARY REMINDER:
1. Don't feed the troll! Ignore obvious flame-bait.
2. If you don't like what's being discussed here, don't complain - change the subject
(Mpls-specific, of course.)
