I was up in Winnipeg a couple weekends ago and noticed something interesting on one of the parkways on which the Manitoba Marathon was run. Here we have signs on some Minneapolis parkways that say "Share the road." On one of their parkways was a sign on the order of "Cyclists must allow vehicles on road." It's a subtle difference, one that not only acknowledges the legal right a bicyclist has to use the roadway, but presumes it.
