Well, let's see here.  In Cooper, Kong's
Restaurant has been around for a half century.
The Diner on 26th and 27th about the same. 
River-Lake Hardware is very old.  The White
Castle at 36th and Lake as been around, I think,
since the 40's.  Hi-Lake True Value is about the
only thing left in Hi-Lake that hasn't become
something other than what I originally saw there.
 The Savers used to be a Country Store. The Reuse
store used to be a J C Penney.  The Bumper to
Bumper used to be a Champion Auto.  The #1
Vietnamese Restaurant used to be a liquor store.

Oh, and there's an office redevelopment right
across the street that once was a Furniture Barn
where most of my furniture (which is pretty old)
came from.
