The rare books place above Dinkydale.

B&H books on 4th St. SE between 8th Ave. and the freeway. I join you in
mourning Perines, but don't forget Hadden's which was bought by the
fellows who are now B&H. Mr. Hadden was a wonderful bookman.

Lien's has a new lease and a new lease on life at East Hennepin and
Central. Any history buffs in this arena? I never went to the Saturday
morning history chat, but Clarence used to fill me in if something happened
he thought I'd enjoy hearing about. (Bless the man.)

A "new" bookstore opened in Dinkytown in the former Al Johnston's building
and I have not been back since dropping about $40 (on exactly the O.P.s I
wanted) the week he opened--mebby two years ago. Is it still there?

BTW: I'm in the market for a Vincent Price Cookbook (O.P., of course). Got
one to sell?
