While I am not a supporter of the 35W project and have been very vocal about that lack of support, I would hate to believe that expressing ones opinions as a volunteer and neighborhood activist should put ones job in jeapordy. Unless of course that job is that of an elected official.
I would caution the group against boycotting the Linden Hills co-op just because Paula works there. I think that is really unfair. That sort of activism is what makes people stay out of civic discussions and issues and makes them afraid to get involved. Paula has been a terrific volunteer on many different levels over the years. She has toiled many long hours for the Powderhorn Park neighborhood and for the redevelopment of Lake Street. As fellow volunteers and activists, we are not going to agree on everything.
