Another problem, I do believe, is Minneapolis not installing strobe changers for emergency vehicles that turn lights red for cross traffic as they speed through. St. Paul's has probably saved hundreds of injuries, perhaps several deaths by having those sensors attached to stoplights detecting a high frequency strobe beam from the approaching police, fire or ambulance vehicle.
St. Paul scores again. And Minneapolis' defiance in putting up "No Turn on Red" signs all over town, instead of at intersections where it is wise to do so, is also a traffic stopper. Stupid.
