Your time of mourning will soon end. Alex Johns of AJ's Smokehouse (1427 North Lowry) has leased the building at 500 East Lake Street, and will be opening soon. He has the best beef ribs in the region (sayeth Dara Moskowitz), we love the pork ribs, his chicken is delightful, and if you haven't had his Caribbean food, well, let's just say you've missed something.
