Please forgive me if this issue has been dealt with.
I have always been under the impression that Minnesota's "Highway Patrol"
only had jurisdiction on the state highways and in pursuit of those who have
committed an offense on the state highways.
That is why they are not called "State Police."
Has the law been changed to give them regular police duties and
jurisdictions?
