The Rev. Jesse Jackson has been saying pretty much the same thing as Rev. Gallmon now for about six years. Speaking as a white guy, I can not conceive how Rev. Jackson and Rev. Gallmon can be targeted as "racist" for offering their evaluation of what they believe is a problem with their community! One can certainly take issue with their conclusion about or perception of the problem, but to call them racist for speaking out about something they are certainly well positioned to address is grossly unfair. Mr. Mann owes Rev. Gallmon an apology.
