Sorry, but as an old high-school newspaper reporter, even I know better than that, Jim."I know Mary Jo's heart is in the right place, but she seems to be the ultimate enabler," Walseth says.
Sorry, but THIS quote is DISGUSTING. No editor should have allowed it. ... Jim Mork Cooper Neighborhood Longfellow Community
You may find the quote "disgusting", but that is what was said. The job of a reporter is to report what happened, even if they find it disgusting.
And the job of an editor is to edit for accuracy & relevance. NOT to edit our what they don't like; that would be the job of a censor.
If you disagree, then explain why you think Mary Jo is not an enabler, and try to persuade us. Don't just attack the person quoted for saying something you disagree with, tell us why they are wrong. That's an ad hominem attack, and well-known as a technique to use when you're losing arguing on evidence. (Old High School debate training.)

P.S. Am I actually getting so old that the stuff I learned in high school is actually useful? Horrors!
TEMPORARY REMINDER: 1. Don't feed the troll! Ignore obvious flame-bait. 2. If you don't like what's being discussed here, don't complain - change the subject (Mpls-specific, of course.)
