Brian, I don't know you but I too am proud of your efforts. You are right. It is easy to stand back and judge others for attempting to do something. It's much harder to get something started in an attempt to make a dent in a problem. You and many others like you work very hard every day to make in-roads to the crime problems that exist in the city. My hats off to all of you. I wish someone would start a "clone a volunteer" program. The city needs more volunteers badly. Hopefully, your civic spirit will inspire others. Keep up the good work.
By the way, if you are looking for other volunteer opportunities, the Nokomis East Neighborhood Association is located on 50th and 30th Av. They could use a great guy like you. They are a great group doing great things. The organization is lucky to have terrific staff and a bunch of really good volunteers.
