    By the way Jim, that was more than likely a White-breasted Morph Red-Tail 
Hawk you saw. A great big fine piece of the reovering urban environment. 
Without the sky shining through it the cinnamon to sepia tail color won't shine 
through.
A Red-Shouldered  would be a more exteme urban sighting. 
    They're more slouchy and uninvolved.
