BEE Bill passed by National Assembly
The Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Bill has been passed by the
National Assembly, with 169 Members of Parliament voting for the
legislation and 36 voting against it 

Insight 
The trial by media of the deputy president must not be allowed to
impede nation-building, according to ANC chief spokesman Smuts Ngonyama.


Muslim college gets the go-ahead from government 
Cape Town has approved plans to build a R30-million religious college
at the birthplace of Islam in South Africa.The college is to be built by
the Diyaarul 'lim Wad-da'-Wah (Door of Knowledge) Trust.
