Eep. Having left the second link unopened in the List Manager's post, I didn't know that Sept. 30 was the last day that Lucille's rent is paid. (It didn't state the date in the article.) Never having organized one of these events, I don't feel comfortable doing it on such short notice. Would someone who has done it before be able to take the lead? But now that I've read the second link, and they are asking for ideas to keep Lucille's open, that's what I'll send them. Rent parties. Contacting the people whose photos adorn the wall.
