There is a serious logical fallacy common to every example Jim, Renee and Barb have
tried to make analogous to the handgun. Here it is:

A handgun exists for one purpose. To put holes in human beings.

An automobile exists to move people around (though it is an extremely inefficient
method to achieve this goal). A razor blade can cut the hair off of my face. Hemp is
woven into fiber and baked into bread.

A handgun kills or wounds a human being. That is its only purpose.

Restricting access to such a device makes perfect sense, unless one favors the killing
and wounding of human beings.

I, for one, do not.

To be fair to all, let's just make it so no one has access to handguns. That gets
around the "equality" argument. And it doesn't even violate the second amendment.
Minneapolis specificity: we can create a constitutional crisis in this town by passing
a law banning all handguns. Let's move the debate.
