IS THERE A NEW MAP OUT, YET? If not, why?
If so, why has the general public not seen it?
The new map's been available for months. It was widely discussed on this list months ago, both during it's preparation and after the final version was released. It's available on the city website at:
http://www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/elections/maps/20020426-precinctmap.asp#TopOfPage

And as Robert Lilligren owns property in the (new) 8th ward, has many friends who live there, and got most of his campaign workers and much of his campaign funds from that area, the idea the he "no longer has much interest" in it seems pretty foolish to me.

Tim Bonham, Ward 12, Standish-Ericsson
