I find it so interesting that some white and black people
who see controversy automatically hear someone complain
about Mr. Ron Edwards (who does his homework), then starts
to attribute all or any problems; "MUST be because Ron Edwards
is around". My, My I have seen this pattern use many times.
Now, Startribune Columnist Doug Grow does the same thing.

Was it Ron Edwards who discourage and turned away some voters
of the last Minneapolis NAACP election?--I don't think so!

Was it Ron Edwards who can't provide a current and accurate accounting of the the
financial contributions of the
Minneapolis NAACP?-I don't think so!

(A current financial audit would greatly-help)

Was it Ron Edwards who said, "Some people will say you are
blaming the victim", he said "But from where I sit, being on
the schood board, being a pastor, we have gotten away from
the African American community having a culture, an
environment that says education is important" (Rev.
Albert Gallmon, President of the Minneapolis NAACP branch,
as quoted by the Startribune, August 1, 2003 in Schools Face
Alarming Racial Gap.--I don't think so!

Was it Ron Edwards who:

Without a doubt, David is the person to navigate us
through these troubled waters we're going to steer
through for years," said the Rev. Al Gallmon, a
former Minneapolis school board member and current
president of the Minneapolis branch of the NAACP.
"There is no problem with him being white. He is
sensitive to the differences that we have within
the district." source Startribune, September 24, 2003
-I don't think so!

I REST MY CASE TO MR. DOUG GROW! AGAIN, MR. GROW DOES NOT
DO HIS HOMEWORK, AGAIN.

BY THE WAY, Mr. Ron Edwards did not participate in creating
a redistricting map they placed Current Minneapolis City Council Natalie Johnson-Lee
outside her current ward!

Minneapolis NAACP and Urban League did-both reprsentatives did
apology to CM Johnson-Lee at Lucille's KMOJ/Insight forum.
How did I know this to be true-I have not only been involved
with the redistricting issue, but was there in person when it
happen! Mr. Grow when you have the courage to give me a
telephone call, I will talk to you! Bye for now.
By the way, have a Minnesota Nice Day to you and others staff
at the Startribune.

Shawn Lewis, Field Neighborhood
