WHAT: Environmental Justice Advocates of Minnesota�s "Founder�s Day: Growing
a Movement" mini-conference.

WHEN: Saturday, October 11th from 2:00pm-7:00pm

WHERE: Minneapolis Urban League (2100 Plymouth Ave N, Minneapolis.) Corner
of Plymouth and Penn.

WHY: To celebrate and build Environmental Justice Advocates of Minnesota.
Communities of color and low-income communities are disproportionately
impacted by environmental toxins. EJAM is a community-based organization to
educate, empower, and address environmental injustice in Minnesota

HIGHLIGHTS: Local High School rappers on health disparities, Detroit
environmental justice organizer Rhonda Anderson, and nationally- renowned
environmental justice leader Dr. Robert Bullard.

Environmental Justice Advocates of Minnesota (EJAM) is a community-based
organization dedicated to advocating for fair treatment and meaningful
involvement of communities of color and low-income communities in the
development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws,
regulation, and policies for the purpose of eliminating health disparities
in low-income communities and communities of color.

EJAM�s vision is to engage communities of color and low-income communities
to advocate for equal protection from environmental and health hazards and
equal access to the decision-making process for a healthy environment.
