Which begs the question: Given that homeownership helps lift families out of poverty, why are we continuing to build public housing? Especially when it's cheaper- this ill concieved projetct would have cost $250,000 for each unit of Holman replacement housing. It would have been cheaper to give each of families evicted by Holman a $100, 000 new house back in 1995!
But just think how many MPHA, "nonprofit", and Sherman et al managers that would have put out of work!
