Credibility means nothing to some. Outside investigations? They were obviously tainted, or biased...

Maybe those that don't live in Jordan or Phillips and are accustomed to a different reality don't understand why cops (in these neighborhoods) feel a need to not take chances.

How many of you are afraid to confront someone standing on your street corner (that more than likely doesn't even live in your neighborhood) that you SEE dealing drugs because you're afraid of bodily harm or being killed????

In less than 3 years:

My immediate neighbors and myself have had FIVE stolen/semi-chopped cars removed from our street corner in the last six weeks, I have witnessed re-supply drops (to the dealers) in FRONT of my house, I have had NUMEROUS "neighbors" offer to sell me stolen property at a "cut rate", my wife and I called 911 on 11 "shots fired" by someone on our front sidewalk (it was over TENNIS SHOES), I have had NUMEROUS items of value stolen front my property, I have had to replace a broken window (someone threw a brick through it) on one of our vehicles, I have had items thrown at our newest vehicle (a $35,000 truck) by dealers standing on my street corner, I have had firecrackers thrown at myself maliciously by CHILDREN, I have had to pay neighbors RANSOM money to get tools back that have been stolen from my property, my wife and I have intervened NUMEROUS times wife neighbors that were abusing their children, I have intervened NUMEROUS times on the behalf of Hmong neighbors that were, eventually driven-out of my neighborhood BECAUSE THEY were the minority, I have witnessed an officer courteously and CALMLY request 3 teenage girls NUMEROUS times to walk on the sidewalk, only to watch horified as a soda can was hurled at the squad along with numerous, profane terms (the arresting officer was threatened with sexual assault), I have had a "neighbor" tell me to suck his ### because I voiced displeasure with him throwing a beer can over my fence into my yard.

How empathetic am I to cries of police brutality? Not very.... I live in a zoo, the police are the keepers... As long as we as a society deem it necessary to keep lower-class minorites bottlled-up in neighborhoods like Jordan and Phillips, we'll continue to experience the problems and the resultant out-cries from do-gooders that don't live-in our neighborhoods and don't understand what's going on.
