cowardice? oes this mean instead of clear speaking she would prefer rhetoric;
and expect rhetoric to provide salvation, and advancement to a People?

This is not about Don S, however the quote I used, (how I understood it to say) from the article shows how we are intimidated by each other. No, I am not for the same ole rhetoric either. I am for something happening, and if this means that leaders need replacing then so be it. From common sense, it is fair to say, all those who speak for the black community is not good. Just like all made money isn't good money.

Well, Keith, if you think this is my solution, I can't help you, you got me twisted... (but God Luv ya) If telling people we need to be about our business at hand is a problem, then boy oh boy, am I wrong and every other person in the universe is wrong to. Elections come and go, so do politicians, if we need new new ones, fine, then we vote for new ones, it is the right of those who wish to. Certainly, you not suggesting that people need not use their mind when selecting someone to represent them? What kind of rhetoric is that...(rhetorical)
I think Don's analysis is closer to the mark; over and over. He has also shown a willingness to do the "right thing"; and minus the vagueness and demagoguery. I wish to stick with his demonstrated leadership at this time.
Keith, you can support who and whom ever you like, and that's fine. However, this is not about who "you" support, its about what others feel and believe. What should have been relayed was of the fact he (Don) spoke about the problems of why, the current black community is in a state in which it is today, and how one is looked upon when they start to try and address those problems. However, my statement about black leadership is one that I am choosing to stick with. This post was not about taking sides or putting a line in the sand, it's about putting the issues on the table, the real one's, and not running and hiding from them. It's about people at a disadvantage and being underserved. It's about the cry's from mother's who have lost their children, it's about those who can not do as well as you with stressing their frustrations, better yet, many don't have computers to do so. I don't envy Don's job, he has it pretty hard. But, when you are elected as a politician, these are the things involved with the job. You take the good with the bad.

I for one, totally agree!, more must and has to be done..........and it starts with trust, education and respect. Until there is, equality will not.
