There are at least two competing bids for the Sears development site. We haven't been told how much Ryan plans to pay itself for convincing the City Council to GIVE them the property and finance the deal with our money and credit. How much did Fine Associates propose to pay itself as a "developer fee"? Council Member Goodman: May we please see ALL of the facts?
Fine Associates has PAID millions of dollars in property taxes TO the City of Minneapolis. This fact alone should favor their bid. Ryan has TAKEN millions of dollars FROM the City of Minneapolis. This fact alone should disqualify their bid. Who is the MCDA/CPED project manager for the Sears site? Where can we see the competing proposals side by side for comparison? I am ready and willing to use Minnesota Data Practices law to obtain this information myself if the City continues its secrecy. There must be a reason that we are not being told the whole story. We must find out before it's too late. Vicky Heller North Oaks REMINDERS: 1. Think a member has violated the rules? Email the list manager at [EMAIL PROTECTED] before continuing it on the list. 2.
