Thomas Searles writes: My it has been very quiet on this list regarding a certain subject. I just wanted to make sure everyone caught the bit of news that the second Minneapolis police officer accused of sexually assaulting Stephen Porter has passed the lie detector test.It is beyond me as to why anyone would believe Stephen Porter's opportunistic, new-found friends in the first place.
Me: I have serious, serious doubts about Mr. Porter's story. However, a couple of posts on the list (not this one, exactly) have presented passing a lie detector test as exonerating the officers. They are not definitive proof. In my view - my opinion, not a fact - that are an interesting sideshow that awaits more conclusive evidence. David Brauer Kingfield REMINDERS: 1.
