Taking a cue from the controversy that accompanied the naming--and unnaming--of Dave Jennings as new schools superintendent, the Park Board has scheduled a public hearing where citizens can state their preferences for a successor to Park Board superintendent Mary Merrill Anderson, who is retiring at the end of the year.

The meeting will be held November 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Park Board headquarters, 2117 W. River Road.

Those interested in applying for the job, by the way, have until the end of the day Monday, November 3.
