I think that the individual campaign contribution limit is $5000, but you could also encourage your employees to contribute as well, and then you can always hire the person after they leave office and give them an enormous salary. If you're really smart you can set up a revitalization program and legally get loans and grants that never need to be repaid. Or illegally, you can just give cash payments or free plumbing work. The fact is that without diligent enforcement you can get away with just about anything and there's so little jail time involved that the benefits far outweigh the risks. After you get out of jail you can always be Born Again and start the whole process over or just hire yourself out as a consultant. If you missed the irony please reread from the beginning.
