What happens when local artists, a neighborhood
organization, property owner, and a government
bureaucrat get together to think about how to
redevelop a vacant neighborhood office space?

You end up with the Stevens Square Center for the Arts
- the newest arts cooperative located on the "Avenue
of the Arts" in Central Minneapolis - and you are
invited to our Grand Opening this Saturday!

Stevens Square Center for the Arts (SSCA) Grand
Opening
Sat Nov. 15th, 4-11PM
1905 3rd Avenue South (Above the 3rd Avenue Market)

What: The SSCA Grand Opening will include works from
photographers, painters, printmakers and mixed media
along with poetry, refreshments, and live
music.

...so come on out, invite your friends, and support
your local neighborhood artists trying to improve
Minneapolis. Hope to see you all there!

Tagline:

The Stevens Square Center for the Arts is a newly
formed, self-funded, artist cooperative started by
local residents and artists. SSCA occupies formerly
vacant office space in Central Minneapolis to provide
affordable studio and exhibition space for emerging
artists. In addition, SSCA is working with the local
community to host after school arts programs, art and
community courses, a public darkroom, and to provide
inexpensive meeting or rehearsal space for
community and art groups.
