        [BRM] Definitely. FairVote Minnesota (http://www.fairvotemn.org/) sponsored a 
petition two years ago for a charter amendment adopting instant-runoff voting, also 
known as "IRV," but did not collect enough signatures. Proportional representation 
would go one step further, but it is a step worth taking, and would alleviate the 
headaches of arbitrary geographic districting.

        By the way, FairVote will have at least two openings on its board next year.
