Minneapolis Public Schools get low marks in many areas from area parents in a district-sponsored survey.
Interesting note: "According to the survey, which polled 1,502 adults about their views of the various types of schools, just over half of parents of school-age children in Minneapolis send their kids to public schools. The rest send their children to private, charter, suburban public or alternative schools or home-school them." (My note: charter, suburban public and alternative schools are also public schools, so I think the second sentence should read "...just over half of parents of school-age children in Minneapolis send their kids to traditional Minneapolis public schools.) http://www.startribune.com/stories/1592/4223020.html David Brauer List manager REMINDERS: 1.
