Twin Cities Neighborhood Sustainability Conference

Neighborhood volunteers, resource people and elected officials from St. Paul, Minneapolis, and suburban communities are invited to attend this free conference.

-          Learn about City sustainability efforts underway in Minneapolis, St. Paul & suburban communities.

-          Launch effective environmental projects and campaigns in your neighborhood.

-          Learn how your neighborhood can define sustainability indicators for itself.

-          Offer your suggestions for the new Sustainability Chapter for the Minneapolis Comprehensive Plan.

Pre-registration is recommended for the Twin Cities Neighborhood Sustainability Conference

-          To ensure that you get into the sessions of your choice

-          If you would like to speak about a project you are working on during a topic session

-          For groups that would like to have a table at the event (no charge)

We are expecting 500 neighborhood volunteers, block club leaders, students, teachers, resource groups, city staff and elected officials from St. Paul, Minneapolis, and other Twin Cities communities to attend the event to explore how to enhance the long term environmental, economic, and social vitality of our neighborhoods.   Both St. Paul Mayor Randy Kelly and Minneapolis Mayor RT Rybak will be helping to open the day. Many suburban leaders will be joining us as well.
