I hope Wal-Mart comes to Minneapolis - it would really help the City's tax
base and our not-so-wealthy consumers.

The "microchips" will be in ALL products eventually - and, as always,
Wal-Mart is the technology leader. According to Wall Street analysts, the
main purpose for the chips is to totally avoid checkout lines. You will be
able to grab your stuff and walk out the door - your credit card will be
charged automatically. The chips also update the inventory systems real
time and re-order product at that same moment.

All of these advances will reduce costs, then prices. I've read that
Wal-Mart saves American consumers $10 Billion each year. Wal-Mart has
improved the standard of living of millions of people around the world - not
to mention the employees who became millionaires by holding its stock.

Low prices good - high prices bad.

On my way to the Vadnais Heights Wal-Mart......
